What's the difference between Google on PC and Google on Iphone?

I asked this question on Google on both my Iphone and on my PC:

"What time will today's inflation report be announced?"

ON PC:

About 9,370,000 search results

The report is set to be released at 8:30 a.m. Eastern time.

I run add ons to block the AI stuff. Google has *********ied search with AI slop. Its just right enough often enough to seem useful but is often wrong that i have to delve deeper anyway.

Plus in your search the BLS site is literally the first link with enough text revealed to see 830 am. I'd much rather have access to the source than whatever AI scraped up.

Yeah, do not take anything with a date involved as the definitive source of truth if it was derived from gen AI. It gets them horribly/amusingly wrong quite often.
