so there is a vent under the seat in Archer... wondering why its there and what happens if its covered... the trim servo (GFC 500) is supposed to sit there as per garmin drawing, but garmin drawing doesnt have the vent there.

My '69 Arrow also has a vent there. I suspect it is simply a vent so that the heater/defroster and cabin air vents don't over pressurize the cabin. Mine doesn't have a screen over it. My STec trim servo is in the tail. (The pipes and diaphragm are for the disconnected landing gear auto extend feature).auto extend plumbing.jpg

Cabin exhaust. Mine didn't have the screen on it like yours does. I put one on it even though it isn't listed in the parts manual.

ok thanks. Thanks to whoever put the screen in there to keep the bugs out.. probably AOPA .. not really sure. well, they better find another place to mount the trim servo then

My Warrior II (-161) has one, and it's screened.
