First it was the TSA screener planting "evidence" in passengers bags.

Then it was the TSA screener who forced the removal of braces from the legs of a handicapped child.

Yesterday it was the school district in Lower Merion that's spying on the students at home through their laptop computers.

And today this: Link

A Dallas Cowboys fan believes it was her jersey, not security, that led TSA screeners to pull her out of line for additional searches at Philadelphia International Airport.

Is there something in the water up there that's causing this?

Well, the Cowboys thing, that's gotta be a legit stop. Who would wear a Cowboys jersey in Philly??
:D

Adam is making prank calls to the TSA again.

"Do you have Prince Albert in a can?"

:D

I think a new incentive plan might help...

Ah, dear Philly, City of Brotherly Love. I know there are wonderful people there, because every time I drive in that city, motorists fling their arms out the window and hoist it skyward, single digit upraised, to let me know they think I'm Number One in their book. Sometimes they even honk, to make sure I sense their enthusiasm. At first I thought they were being grateful that I wasn't peeling rubber at freshly-green traffic lights, but then I decided they knew I was from elsewhere, as I slowed to read a street sign, and they just wanted me to feel welcome. I always blow them a sweet Southern kiss back.

 Awesome.

Gotta love the wonderful city of Philthydelphia.

Rant follows:

I am an LMSD parent. I have read the complaint and the SD response and I am not a happy tax payer. Even if the "only" thing they did was track computers reported stolen, missing, etc. their failure to advise the students and parents that they had the capability is unacceptable. I will be strongly urging that an independent investigation be undertaken not the self serving "investigation" the board has started by hiring an attorney to represent them and conduct an investigation. Can you spell cover up? Terminations need to happen soon, starting with the Superintendent who seems to be doing his best to set a record for the number of lawsuits against a school district during the shortest tenure. I don't want to go into the other ones mostly because I don't know the details, but there are several more. I am also hoping that at the next election we can convince the voters to throw the bums on the school board out. Though I do admit it is a tough job and I'm not sure they are all useless. To top it all off our ranking as the number 1 school district in the state, which we once held, has been surpassed by other districts causing me to wonder just where our resources are going. I and many of my neighbors live where we live in a large part because of the quality of the school district, which is still superb, but why is it slipping? Inquiring minds want to know.
