+FC would mean "HEAVY funnel cloud", right? :hairraise:

I suggest coming in with no flaps and a little extra airspeed. Who needs a controller for that?

On a more serious note, why is there no shortage of video footage of tornadoes shot from a helicopter?

Because the choppers carry video cameras with billy-badass lenses that can catch good shots from 5+ miles away. Anybody can be brave from several miles away in smooth air.

...can't forget that mist.

If they would have stayed they would needed all new chair covers and would have never gotten the smell out of the tower cab,

5 miles away from a TORNADO? :hairraise: We don't fly within 20 miles of a thunderstorm.
