But I've also heard that getting too good of a score might make them think you just memorized the answers and they'll drill you that much harder..


You never know; too many variables.

I scored mid-90s on both the SP and PP written exams. The SP oral was a bit over an hour. The PP oral, though, went on forever. The winds were too high for the LSA I was flying (and the windsocks at each end of the runway were pointing at each other), so we kept going and going on the oral exam while hoping the winds would calm down a bit. After 3 hours, we gave up and decided to try again another day.

But at least he was convinced I knew the material! ;)
