$160.00 bail for drunk driving!! :mad2:I think it's $5000.00 in Georgia, after you spend 24 hours in jail! Glad I quit drinking, if I start back I'll go to Maine! :D
 
Come to Mass. You'll get released on personal recongnizance and pay a $40 fee to the bail clerk. I saw one guy get arrested, bailed and back to the scene before the tow truck got his car upright.

I saw some show she was on, several years ago. There was a scene where she was across the street, wanting to catch up to somebody and talk to him. She yells something like, "Wait up!!", then starts running across the street. He turns to see her running. And running. And running. Then she stops to catch her breath. Then starts running again. Eventually, he looks at his watch.

I LOL'd real good at that one.

DUI accident this morning. Car takes out bus stop, 4 people waiting for the bus, 4 people in the car. At least 4 dead, broken bodies, torn apart, flung 30 yards and more. The car went airborne going through an intersection and lost control into the people waiting for the transit bus to go to work and school.

No bail, facing at least 4 counts of DUI Vehicular Homicide plus other charges.
I'll vote for Death Penalty.
 
Our society. We make it what we want it to be. We apparently value our alcohol more than each other, judging by our laws.

I would agree. Punish bad and reckless driving regardless of the cause, be it alcohol, road rage, or careless inattention.
