I thought it would be interesting to see how often the members of this board are flying relative to the past few years. Feel free to comment further with reasons such as economy, interest declining, growing passion for aviation, etc.

Pretty much stable for me....100-110 hours each year. Hope to increase this year with a weekly beach mission added into the mix.

The past two years have almost doubled my time per year over the previous 3 years. In part to doing more part time instruction and in part getting my finances in order (paying off debt) so I can fly my sailplane more.

Family medical problems, specifically caring for elderly parents, drove my hours to zero since March 2010.

Doubled, that's Great...

There is a big difference between % increases and actual time. Even though you likely flew much more than me, I'm not sure how to compare the increases.

Time for the previous 5 years = 0, 0, 1, 50, 51. in 2009, at just 1 hour, it was infinitely more than the previous year. Then in 2010, it was a 5,000 % greater than the infinitely more year. In 2009, after so much increase, the hours tended to level off.:D

Definitely up since I became an owner. In the last two years I've logged over 100 hours each year. I haven't come close to that since my student pilot year, not even when I had unlimited access to a friend's plane back when avgas was cheap (i.e. $2.50/gal).

Didn't know how much detail I wanted to posted online about my flight time.
Went from about 38 hours/year soaring for 07,08, and 09. Then went to 75 hours for 2010 and 2011
