My sister is a Colorado real estate agent and she just did a video tour of a hangar home in Erie. What is a rough guesstimate of the cost to build a 100' X 100' hangar with tile floor and insulated walls and ceilings so I can see how if compares to comparable non-hangar homes.

Thanks

100'x100' is massive. Probably ballpark of $1-1.5mm. Maybe even more because those sizes are potentially getting into expensive fire suppression systems - local building code dependent.

45'x45' insulated runs around $200k to build around here, probably more in the Denver Metro area.

These days building one is likely to cost nearly an order of magnitude more than buying one already built.

Thank you for your replies. I knew it would be more than the 100K my sister estimated, but not how much more.

10K sq ft at $100 per is a million bucks. That would be unrealistically cheap where I live. It’d be near double that in my neighborhood.
