Quit with the negative waves, man.
Airplane on it's back, airport closed for a number of hours? Heard about it on FDK unicom.

Glad I wasn't flying today....

16R/34L was closed yesterday. If this closed the airport, then it must have been on 16L/34R (the longer runway - which is the only one that's really usable by jet traffic and larger aircraft. If 16R/34L was open, there's no reason to close the airport.

Sure it was HEF?

Warrenton is close, but it's not HEF.

That would have been the right time, date and circumstance.
I guess it must have been Warrenton. Still wondering what happened. Couldn't have been a better day for flying.

...16R/34L was closed yesterday...
The KHEF runway closure was announced in advance, so that must have been something planned, and not in response to an incident.

Yep, they were doing maintenance.
