A. Computer was in sick-bay for a week; couldn't happen at worse time.
B. Lack of e-mail caused calamity of missing two rehearsals with my accompanist. Concert coming up on August 26.
C. Got my plane back from New Hampshire(photos, probably, tomorrow night).
D. Lawn mower fixed, finally got the back lawn(hay field) mowed(Photo #1).
E. Had imprompto personal cook-in at my hangar(Photo #2).
F. Got film developed. There's Dave Taylor in the traditional Hangar Couch Photo, back on July 07. Yup; Janet caught me with my eyes closed.
G. Computer gone? Time to clean the computer room(Photo #4).
H. Had to take leaves and clippings to the landfill(Photo #5).
I. More "stuff" from the garage to the hangar(Photo #6).
J. Ah; computer back, can get back to tweaking the graphics for my concert program(Photo #7). Still a few changes; and date with the recording studio on the coming Sunday.

Whoever said "Retirement is a piece of cake" is full of more than cake.

And here's the follow-up to "C."(above).

#1: Hazard of plane being out-of-state, "quarantined" by bad WX, and not being flown during 13 weeks.
#2: The panel, after the upgrades.
#3: ... and a few trips around the patch had the battery coming "UP".
#4: "OK, Bruce; you'll be back at Bowdoinham faster than I can drive."
#5: The Run-up.
#6: Leaving Concord, NH(KCON).
#7: I'd rather be up there looking down, than......................
#8: At Bowdoinham(temporarily), before moving to the hangar at Wiscasset.
#9: With other local planes at Bowdoinham.
#10: NOT the theme song of a true aviator, eh?

Good one, Chuck!! She knows I stay on top of e-mail; and she sent one early Friday AM that she was very sick and would have to "bag" the Saturday rehearsal. Neither of us knew that my computer crapped out sometime after Thursday night. So I went to Portland on Saturday -- couldn't find her. ?????
Sunday, I was to pick her up at 2:00 to meet our session at Maine Sound Stage, Recording Studio. I left her a voice mail Saturday night that I'd pick her up on my automobile return from Concord, NH Airport. Whereas I left home at 5:30am Sunday to get my ferry pilot, I had no way of hearing her 9:35am message that whatever she had been prescribed left her in no condition to tickle the Steinway Concert Grand at the recording studio.
It'll all come out in the wash; we'll just record the CD in one session, instead of the two which had been planned. When I got my computer back, after one week, there was much e-mail house cleaning to do; and hers were there.
