Weird plane

I don't necessarily subscribe to the old adage "never by an A model of anything," but I think I'd bail on a 1 of 2 ever built.

edit:
And would you look at that, my 1000th post. Yay me. Only took 5 years, 1 month, and 6 days. Shame such a milestone was wasted commenting on a post by Bryan with a Y. ;)

"never by an A model of anything,"
I don't know why you'd say that. In many cases (a lot of Cessnas and even Navions) the "A" model is a refinement over the original model (which bears no " model letter designation).

Pretty sure I said I didn't subscribe to that notion, Ron.

P.S. Bryan, I hope you know I was joking before.

Of course. Now if our was your 10k post I would be honored

I'm wondering what's meant by this, at the end of the plane's description:

***It was converted to fixed wing."***

Possibly it was meant to say converted to fixed gear? Sounds like it was originally a retract.

It was originally a lawn dart. Once the gear, engine and prop were replaced, the wings were installed. Its now officially a fixed wing.

Looks like a modified comanche or something, pretty interesting.
