Weekend Picnic by Air

This past Saturday, my friend and I flew our planes to the local gathering spot, BQ1, Barbecue One, AKA Pik N Pig in Carthage, NC. We took our lawn chairs, ordered takeout and practiced safe distancing while a couple dozen other planes landed and did the same. One young couple had a blanket under the wing of their Debonair and their two little daughters joined the fun. Another friend landed in his Baron. A beautiful day, airplanes, great food and friends...what a nice getaway !

A fun place to go...usually lots of planes and motorcycles show up on weekends.
