Final Approach
Scheduled trip from Jeff-uh-metro (KBJC) to Custer, SD (KCUT) on Saturday morning, returning on Sunday afternoon. CUT was IMC at 7am, but looking like it was going to clear, however, a significant band of TSHR NE over WY/MT looked like it was heading that way. Severe thunderstorms predicted for BJC on return all added up to "cancel the XC" so flew up to Kimball, NE for coffee, Longmont for gas and Jeff-uh-Metro again.
Of course, Saturday was beautiful all day, and Sunday was as well. I haven't looked to see what transpired up over MT/WY/SD/NE for the Sunday thunderstorms, but they didn't happen here...
