I was thinking that if the engines are electric it probably only flies for a few minutes on each charge. I have a hovercraft that will fly for maybe 5-9 minutes.

Well, yeah, with batteries that small you can't output 1.21 gigawatts for very long at all.

One of the planes I fly is N121JW. I've been tempted to call up ground one day and say "1.21 Jigga-Watt, IFR..."

That is very cool, but I did notice that it was not what you would call a smooth ride. I think when you get to the full size version, you'll need some sort of a barf expulsion system, or a whole lot of those bags.
