We in the Puget Sound are accustom to a little rain, but this week the snow level went from sea level to 9k and we got what was known as the pineapple express, a warming trend that sent the temps in to the high 50s. combined with the warm temps and the 8 inches of rain we got this week. this is how the rivers look.
the last picture was taken last summer when we had a normal run off on the Stillaguamish River at Granite Falls
the first 2 were taken today, same place, with all the rivers at flood stage
