We-B-Smokin BBQ for lunch, Paola, KS, 12/17

Several of us (including Tom this time) are planning to fly to Paola, KS (K81) for BBQ tomorrow. Looks like Kim is planning to join us, as well as Shawn and maybe Chip. Tony says he wants to come but has to work, and is ready to retire so that he can fly more. Wayne is too far away to haul his shiny P-ponk up here to most of our fly-ins.

Anyway, it looks like it will be the last warm day for some time, so I hope those of you that are so inclined will join us for lunch.

Well, it's supposed to get all the way up to 53° tomorrow. Then the highs for the next 10 days will only be in the 30's. Last warm day, relatively speaking.

My brother just shipped me 4 bottles of BBQ sauce for Christmas from a resturant he found in El Paso last summer.... guess I got some cookin to do this year.

Rudy's is a pretty good destination if you're in New Braunfels (NE of San Antonio).
