Woo hoo! After a grueling set of finals and a long ride home, I got a call today from my fishing sponsor brand's manager, and I've been selected out of 30 people to be the company's summer intern! (Remember those videos I posted awhile back? This is the end result.) I will be designing a new line of relatively low price-point, professional quality fishing rods and bringing them to market while helping with various social marketing and other promotional/product development. Best yet, a large part of the job will be going fishing with new, never before used products on the company boat. And all that means more money for flying!
