Warrior Down Vero Beach

It it wrong to want this to be the fault of the aircraft and not the student. However I also guess the CFI will be up for questioning as well.
 
Sucks ... but on the other hand, if you can get thru this on your first solo, it is very much downhill from here ...
 
Looks like the engine out landing went alright, sounds kinda low when it happened.

Pretty much unscathed, don’t care to much about the plane(well, much less than the life of the pilot).

As for cause, fuel is always a 1st item. Not always quantity, but what kind of switching was going on. I remember an accident years ago, the pilot did a hasty switch in the pattern, ended up between two positions.

Anyway, no idea on the actual cause, glad the pilot is O.K..
 
Glad to see the pilot walked away.
 
Must have been first solo cross country.

It may have been a routine practice flight followed by a first solo after the instructor got out.
