Wanted--Instructional tape or CD

I was painting some exterior trim today thinking I should be studying for my CFI. It occured to me that it would be great if I had some tapes or CDs I could listen to that I wouldn't have to prompt. Something I could listen to without having to click to continue to the next module.

That is when it occured to me I had just described books on tape.

Does such an instructional tape or CD already exist? Why not an entire series for PPL-->CFI? Perhaps this is an evolution of Michael's project.

I'm thinking maybe the entire FAA-H-8083-9 and others on tape.

I googled "aviation training audio" and found a few candidates.

The FAA books are not copyrighted, if we had enough volunteers it would be a reasonable project to put them into mp3 files.

Richard,
In the future Private Pilot Exam may go with audio books. But right now, just working on finishing the Instrument and Commercial ratings parts of the site. Then on to bigger things.
