M model was the last one before they cut it and started with the 152, correct? (i.e. o200, not the Lycoming 0235?)

Yes. My first plane was a 150M that I purchased in '82 when I was learning to fly. One of the ads above references 1977 but I think the M model was out in 1976. It was a fun little plane but as my family expanded to two children we could not use it for family transportation and I sold it.

Looking for a late model, the 3 UPS pilots involved ..."

Over at Falcon Crest Aviation Supply near APA, they have a big wall of photos of all their business customers going way back... but one of the funniest photos on that wall is a photo of their UPS guy with the caption...

"What can Brown do TO you??"

:)

I know of an A150M for sale. Freshly overhauled engine, new interior, paint, basic VFR instruments with a VOR. Flew it after the engine overhaul, flew nice.

PM me if you'd like more information.

M-Models were made in '75, '76 and '77. There are small differences from one year to the next. For example, '75 M was last year for fuses vs circuit breakers. '76 was last year for old style flap switch, '77 (last of the 150s) went to preset flap detent switch similar to 152s. 152 came out in '78 model year.
