For the life of me I cannot find a repair/maintenance manual for my 2007 XC90 V8... anyone know where I can get one. I've asked on Volvo forums but no replies yet.

If this is something that woulda been in the glove box when new, check the recycling yards.

Go to www.car-part.com, do searches for the engine and transmission for your Volvo, call those yards, tell them they have a match to your car, then ask if they located the manual set in the glove box when the car was inventoried.

Also check eBay in the Owners Manual category.

Owners manual doesnt cover comprehensive repairs does it? I need to swap out a mass air intake temperature sensor.

Confusius say man who hang out Volvo forum have more boring life than next man.

Ain't nothin' wrong with Volvos! Especially the V70R, S60R, 850 Turbo, annndd... I think that's it.

I've had a terrible time finding one for my S60 as well...

... Until now! I guess not enough Volvo owners want to do their own maintenance for them to carry the manuals in the store...

This! I love my S60 T5! For a while after I got it, every time I got in it I'd discover some new feature, that, while tiny in the grand scheme of things, showed how much thought Volvo put into the little details.

It's also made me a big fan of turbos. I've got power when I need it, but I don't have to haul around (and feed) a V-8 all the time.
