I went to the Abbotsford airshow last week and saw the Skyhawks skydiving team demo. Their presenter and team coach is a guy by the name of (I think) JP McCann. I'm trying to find out if he's the same McCann that was involved in the canopy-relative formation record attempt at Parris Valley back in the early '80s. I know that'd make him in his 70s now. But if it's him, he was also a CH-46 pilot in my squadron that I frequently flew crew chief for back then. Anyone here know or know of this guy?
I can't seem to find anything about him. It'd be fun to say "hi" to him. He got me my first couple of jumps (out of a Huey no less) way back when.
