Longing for Long Tien
Okay - so following my Caribbean adventure I have a couple of questions.
Flying in/out of San Juan Isla Grande TJIG, you have to transit to San Juan Int'l TJSJ C class airspace along a number of preset "transitions". Now, neither in the AF/D nor on the TAC could I find these transitions. I knew they were there as I consulted the Caribbean Pilot guide so I eventually found them on the Isla Grande Flying School website - but nowhere else (okay, maybe i didn't know how to google properly).
In Europe i'm used to having Visual Aerodrome charts like this one at my home base:
http://www.aero-club.ch/media/VAC GVA.pdf
or this one in Milan:
http://aeroweb.lucia.it/gifs/Aeroporto/Jeppesen-LIMBfront.pdf
that detail all the routes and reporting points in and out.
I couldn't find the "local" equivalent (and got scolded because i didn't use the "official" reporting points).
Question to the experts out there - what is the local equivalent of this type chart and where can one find it?
