Video Editing Assist

I have a short (under a minute) video. 16:9 aspect ratio. I need to crop it to 4:3 so that I don't have the black bars top and bottom. Can't seem to do it with the editing software I use (Corel VideoStudio Pro 8).

Does anyone have Premiere or something else capable of cropping this for me? Or, insight on how I can do it myself?

I'm a Linux user so I'm not familiar with Windows-only solutions. You can give the first solution here a try.

Ah, I'd forgotten about Handbrake. I've had poor results with it in the past so something like Premiere might work better. But thanks for the suggestion!

Islandboy, stand down. I gave it a try with Handbrake. Not the best rendering but I think it will work. Thanks much for your offer of assistance. - Russ
