It claims to be a joke, but every reference to "Viagra" is a link to a sale site.

Appropriate? MC decides...

I reported it less than 10 minutes after it was initially posted. Strip out the links, and it can stay, as far as I'm concerned. But the links are inapprotriate. Again, my opinion.

Go to sleep, Grant. You're up too late.

Oops, so am I!

Matter dealt with. All you need do in this case is hit the "bad post" button -- the red triangle with the black ! inside. That sends an email to all MC members, and we deal with it as soon as we see it (which may take a few hours if you hit it at 3 am).

Whatta ya mean, "a few hours"??? And, here I was thinking you guys were dedicated! :D

Isn't that exactly what I did? And what do you mean, it only sends an e-mail. Isn't it supposed to route to your pager, your house phone, and/or your alarm clock?:rofl::rofl:

Seriously, Youse guys (alright, you need some feminine representation there!) do a heck of a job!

We are certainly open to considering adding volunteer moderators to help cover the hours when the Management Council is asleep.

Volunteers must be:
- Consistent, regular posters with a good track record and no more than one warning on their account, and that more than 90 days old.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to remain calm, objective and level headed regardless of subject.
- Able to withstand vitrol and hate poured upon you by those whom you find it necessary to take action against while doing the duties of a moderator.
- Able to be logged on whenever at least 3 MC members aren't logged in
- Able to live without sleep
- Able to withstand scrutiny by the MC at any moment
- Happy to tolerate answering the most inane questions by the MC
- Willing to take the blame for any mistakes the MC might make while denying that the MC ever makes mistakes
- Close enough to was my car (or wash, if I could type)

Hopeful Candidates may submit their intent to become a moderator via PM to any MC member, along with their generous contribution (you pick the amount anything over 4 digits is acceptable) to our PayPal contribution site.

;)

ah, NOW it makes sense! I can usually read thru typo's and make sense of them pretty easily ... not this one!

You did, but Spike posted a note about it in "Site Feedback and Support." That wasn't necessary, and it doesn't alert us the same way as hitting the "bad post" button.

Ouch!

I did not know there *was* a "bad post" button until now.

Was that sorta like "Any Traffic ..."?

Yeah, there are so many features to this board that it's hard to know them all. For example, I only recently learned some of the functionality of the Calendar link.
