would welcome thoughts on viability given the following conditions.
The idea is to purchase and self-operate an aircraft in some capacity that yields at least a small gross profit. Not at all interested in part 121 ops, other options (potentially) open.
1.) Aircraft purchased outright - no financing
2.) Max purchase price $1.25 M
3.) Aircraft purchase is capitalized, assuming 3.5% annual depreciation expense; $44K on $1.25M
4.) Pilot (flight hours only) time valued at $50 per hour.
