VFR traffic under the approach

Just because you are on an IFR flight plan does not relieve you or your responsibility to see and avoid in VFR conditions.
 
I mentioned there were still some airspace issues that needed to be worked out before those could function properly. I can hear approach telling me that is a remotely piloted vehicle under/over me now <g>. How would they maintain visual clearance?

I went to the USAF Museum for last month's lecture on UAV's.
The speaker commented how nice it was to be able to monitor the UAV and order carryout pizza.

If you read through the earlier thread, you will find the IFR traffic was IMC at the time the two parties almost met in the air. :smile:
