Line Up and Wait
I am thinking about flying into U42 on Monday or Tuesday VFR, if the weather permits. For those familiar with the area, how about some tips for approaching from the north, and leaving the opposite way.
I'm thinking about flying to the intersection of V101 and V257, then descend to 5500ft and head southerly, perhaps 140deg to the south end of the lake, then East and hug the mountains under the Class B and into U42. Does this sound like a good plan, or is there a better way into and out of U42, VFR?
