Hello,
A couple of months ago I woke up with severe dizziness and nausea that resulted in me not being able to do much for several days. My doctor diagnosed me with acute labyrinthitis, and as he predicted, it dissipated over the following days/weeks. Obviously, I self-grounded while experiencing the symptoms. Now, the vertigo and related symptoms are gone, and I am back to normal.
I am current on my BasicMed, so I've been researching what is needed in order to fly again. As far as I can tell, there is no specific process that I need to go through - no special issuance or similar process. Am I missing something?
