Looks like it was the builder who lived in Bolder he was flying to Triangle Airpark which is near Kingman. https://aviation-safety.net/wikibase/275672

Rich Moynihan was the builder and pilot who was found dead. ADSB shows 143 MPH last return he was on approach. I did find a page on Vans website about this RV-7 first flight in 2019 he built it with the local EAA Chapter. I was at the Copperstate fly-in Saturday eating lunch woman sitting another table said she got alert on her phone a plane crashed I thought it was at the fly-in must have been this crash.
