Well the article is written in Australian. While somewhat related to the English language Australian has some interesting grammar, syntax, and vocabulary.

For Aussies? That was excellent use of English. I would often cringe down there at the use of the language, and I worked with a Pom who did as well. The use of the word "cu-t" is another fun one. I was at a club one time, and this totally elegantly hot gal walks up to me and in her "rough as guts" voice says "How ya goin c-nt?" eeeeeeee
