V-22 down in Norway. 4 fatalities

I like Juan but his comments about command pressure and icing conditions is pure speculation. All we have to go on is an Osprey crashed in the mountains.

They just released the crew names and ages…two new 27 year old 0-3s at the controls…if the ages are correct and knowing how things work with flight hours these days I bet this turns out to be a very junior crew…pure speculation on my part…but I bet winter flying time has been limited for them. Rest In Peace all

I saw mention of bad weather mixed with high terrain, rescue helicopters unable to reach the site. When operating on local training missions, it’s often a VFR type operation. I didn’t watch any Juan video(have others, credit him), can’t help but relate to a few AK sightseeing flights that unsuccessful tried to complete in marginal weather. RIP, tragic no doubt.

I guess there is another V-22 down yesterday…Navy out of Norfolk…reporting one dead.
