Using Maine's Wilderness?

- - not up-to-date re your question, but the airspace was being touted as a potential training area for low-level flights for armed forces flights at 250+ mph gigs. Such plans were meeting resistance from GA airports and pilots in the proposed training areas. I'm uncertain re current status of the situation.

Take a look at your charts for IR-027. Goes along the border of most of Maine. Enters off the ocean near Castine, heads for Loring and Ashland, then across the northern section headed to just north of Mt Washington and into NH, VT, NY to Ft Drum. Try that at 540KGS.
