Using 1 transducer for 2 fuel flow indicators

I currently have an EI FP-5L in my bonanza, connected to a Fuel Flow Differential Module (carbureted with return line). I also have a JPI 700 with fuel flow option, but nothing hooked up for FF right now (the mechanic who installed the transducers wouldnt hook them up to the JPI because they were EI red cubes. I had to buy the FP-5L to make it work). Is it possible to splice the signal wire from the FP-5L and have it feed both units? from what I can read, I wouldnt need the power and ground wires as those are supplied from the FL-5L, but I didnt know if the signal would be corrupted that way...

since those are installed under an STC, unless the instillation sheets support that, I would not sign off on the 337 on that either.
