USB HD invisible

I have a 1TB USB HD that isn't visible on my Win7 computer. It shows up fine on my wife's Win7 computer.

When viewed, the Iomega CDFS partition shows up fine, but not the NTFS partition with the data.

Viewing it in properties or manage, the partition is there and marked actitve.
When plugged into my wife's computer, there it is in all its glory.

This is a recent development. it started after I used the drive to put some pictures onto my wife's computer.

Since i use this drive for backup I'd sure like to have access to the stuff on it.

Assuming you tried another USB port? I've seen that with thumb drives, i switch the port, and good to go

With Windows, when in doubt, reboot.

If that doesn't work, try Some Other Device in the USB port to determine that it's working.
