US Geography test

92% with a 9 mile error.

Same problem as before. Difficult to place the state with out references. Place Iowa without any of the neighboring states in place is difficult at best.

92% 28 mile error rate.

Dang you don't realize how little those East Coast States are until you try to place the dang things. No wonder I have a hard time convincing a certain company in Connecticut that it's not just a quick jaunt from Austin to El Paso..they have no concept of how big a BIG state is!

98%, 1 mile, 394 seconds on the first try. I had to place Wyoming in the middle of nothing and while I was perfect E/W I was a hair too far north.

Then, 100% in 316 seconds, or 6.32 seconds per state. :D

Though with my job, it's pretty much cheating! Oh well.

Dang, you beat me! I got 98% with a 2 mile error. It would have been perfect except I had to place Kansas early enough that there weren't any adjacent states to help set th position and I missed by 25 miles on that one. The rest landed in place.

94% Error avg was 9 miles I got confused as to where florida, Texas and Alaska were LOL

94% @ 7 miles. Do I have to confess this isn't the first time I've been to this web site?

98% and 9 miles. I got messed up pretty bad on colorado, with no other references, and then couldnt remember if new hampshire or vermont was on the right or left.

spike, im offended, i knew exactly where texas was!

The link had already been circulating at work. I had practiced prior to this try.

92% 12 miles 400 seconds (some of that time was figuring out what the heck I was supposed to be doing)

92/12 I knew exactly where Iowa goes, wait, I had every surroudning state except Missouri in place:yes: What did everyone else get for a first state, I had South Dakota

86%, 29 miles, 316 seconds

If the stupid 'hand' wasn't so big, I'd have done better. Trying to place them tiny, inconsequential eastern states in the proper place when the cursor is bigger than the state......

South Carolina for a first state.

I had Wyoming all alone did the same thing to me.

Got 88% with an average error of 15 miles. In all fairness, one of the errors was from me clicking on the state and not dropping it on the map, and the rest were only off by a few miles.

94/7 sure would be easier if you got to pick the order, except for Delaware the others were plane state positioning.

94%/ 8mi / 333secs

Hawaii was first, and that perplexed me -- is this some sort of joke???!!!! WTF?!

Then Oklahoma popped up.....only 26mi error, but I knew it was GAME ON!

It's cool, but to be fair and more accurate in score value, shouldn't keep the correct selections on the map, deleting them so that a blank map is there for each selection. The way it is now, simple interstate ground and coastline border match ups are about 70% of the game.

Ah, that makes me feel better as this was my first attempt. I'm pretty sure I could hit them all with a little practice.

Same as Bill 96% and 4. Wyoming was my 3rd state, and also Iowa in with no reference in my first 5. So those two were off a little. My first state was NY, then GA, then WY. 183 seconds.
