uploading photos from ipad

So what is the best way to upload a photo i just took with my ipad to the forum?

HD is written to utilize the iPad full screen. Non/HD is an iPhone App that can be stretched on iPad.

Both work functionally fine. I decided to get the HD for my iPad just to utilize all the screen real-estate of the lovely screen. I still use non-HD on the iPhone.

The iPhone App will load on both devices if you have both. Might be a reason to only get one of them at first.
 
Since I'm a software skeptic, can I get regular and then upgrade if i like it and only pay the delta?

No, you have to pay all over again to upgrade to the HD version, and it doesn't carry over any settings.

The iPad HD version also has some bugs that are due to be fixed in the next update, most notably that 'jump to first unread post in a thread' does not work.

Interesting. I believe the recent versions just changed that "settings" issue, because all of my forums were on the iPad and NOT the iPhone, only two were there... all of a sudden, they're all on both now, and there's a top and bottom half to the screen for "Local" and something I forget right now.

They're definitely making it better. Not sure which mechanism they're using for syncing the two... has to be on their server somewhere, since iTunes doesn't copy metadata from applications from one iOS device to the other, that I'm aware of.

It brought over user/login information too.

I had noticed it was missing the bottom post by one or two, sometimes three posts, but didn't realize it was a bug that had been reported... I just scrolled up a little bit.

Still WAY WAY WAY better than clicking on the tiny arrow logo on the "real" website for the same functionality. I wish vBulletin had a setting for "always jump to last unread post in a thread when opening". I'd rather click on the much larger title URL than play marksman on a big 20"+ screen for that little arrow icon.

EDIT: Lin (developer) just said that the fix for this has been submitted to the App Store; you should see an update to download within a week.

AMEN! Half the time, I accidentally end up pulling up the user profile of the person that started the post, since that is also a clickable link just below the little blue arrow. Especially when using a touch (finger) interface, such as on the iPad or phone.

The latest update was in the App Store a couple days ago. It seems to have corrected the issue with jumping to the first unread post.
