I'm working on my interior and I'm going to need to replace some 40 year old tabs, not sure what they're called though. Here's a picture I found, it's the tab at top connecting the plastics.

Check the manual for that aircraft, that should specify what placards are required in the aircraft.

Oh I'm sorry, I'm talking about the tab that's holding the plastic to the aluminum door. Not sure what they're called, but I need a few news ones to replace rusted ones.

If you have a metal one, it's probably a poprivit. But I can't imagine a steel (rusty) one being used.
But there are all kinds and sizes of gizmos to fit the bill. A few can be had at the local parts store. Others can be had from AvEco, or from the auto dealer.

The fasteners are Auveco capped trim fasteners model number 1202 i believe... You should be able to find them at any upholstery shop or online. The only problem with on line is you"ll likely have to buy 100 of them.

Regards,

Jim
