Upgrade PA34 Seneca from 93 to 123 gal from outparted wings?

Hello,

Is it technically possible to extend existing 93 gal tanks of a PA34 with 123 gal tanks from parted out wings from another pa34 with appropriate size/volume? Any considerations from legal point of view? Any estimation regarding effort/costs/working hours?

I would start with the TCDS to check serial number compatibility.

I installed wings from a 172 with cuffed Leading Edge on a earlier model

with non- cuffed Leading Edge. A letter from Cessna and a 337 were

involved. Note this also reduced max Flap Extension from 40 degrees to 30.

Since this was some time ago I don’t recall if a Gross Weight Increase was

involved.
