Updating change of address with FAA

[Princesspilot206]

I know it has to be done within 30 days of moving, but it is unclear as to whether you have to order a new cert with the new address. The wording on the website it makes it seem like its a choice. Thank you for clarifying.

I believe the new cert card is a choice. The change of address notification isn’t, though I thought one had 90 days to do that.

It may be a good idea to get a new card. So if something happens all your id's have the same address.

$2 to get a new certificate. Purely optional.

No reason to get a new card as long as you remember where you live.
