I think Rust-oleum sells something called "Neverwet". Wonder if it is the same stuff.

Been discussed in other threads here. Issue seems to be its abrasion resistance may not be great, so you'd need to to reapply it regularly. But, heck....as a poor-man's anti-ice solution (assuming it worked) it might be worth it to reapply it every few weeks during the icing season.

If you won't fly with frost on the wing, you probably don't want to fly with the Rustolium NeverWet (available at Home Depot) - dunno if the Ultra Block is any different.
