"Read this before watching video:

For those unfamiliar, these controllers are in Nevada operating a UAV thousands of miles away in the combat zone in Iraq and Afghanistan .

The pilot's left hand is on the throttle controlling the UAV's engine throttle. Note all the buttons which perform various tasks without removing the hand from the throttle. The pilot's right hand is flying the plane. The red button which he pushes with his thumb is the same as the weapon release button on a USAF fighter aircraft flight control stick."

Very cool to see those drones "in action" The players were not in uniform. Is that a training facility?

The stick isn't the same. The throttle is similar to a LGPOS.

Could be an alphabet soup company training - CIA, etc.

I don't think this is the actual set up in NV but simply a company video showing how it all works. There are active duty AF/Army and contractors involved in flying the UAS. My guess this is a contractor demo of a training scenario.
