Between this incident and the last one, this is just what we need prior to a vote on PBOR2..... Lovely.

In a bizarre way it kind of is- if the more intensive first and second class medicals can't catch these why would a third class? That's the spin I'd put on it if ever asked.

Maybe they should have all air crew take a less expensive class 3 physical. The 1st and 2 no don't seem to be doing the job

And the AOPA and the EAA should be shouting at the TOP of their lungs about now..:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Well... That explains a Captain with a double bypass heart surgery and holding a FIRST class medical...:mad2::mad2::(

Agreed. Reminds me of the saying that some of the lower end GA twins have two engines because they need them both to stay up. I guess the same logic is applied to pilots. :rolleyes2:

Completely FAA approved ! Can you even began to imagine all the hoops he had to jump thru to get that approved ? No doubt a great deal of down time while waiting for the gummint boys to get around to signing off on it all. But keep in mind in 121 ops there's another guy there to takeover - Clark Griswald driving his family around in the Bonanza - not so much.

Objection... Speculative. Depends on if Mrs. Griswald or the kids are pilots.
