Just to clear up some confusion

If I got initially typed in January 2024 in type A

Then a new type rating July 2024 in type B it appears they changed my base month to July. (Same 135 operator)

When it is January 2025 what checks am I due for and what type must it be done in or both?

My thought is get a 293 a + b every 12 months from the date I got typed in specific aircraft + 297 (alternating which would be done anyway) every 6 months now is this correct or wrong?
ex: Jan 2025 293 a+b, 297, 299: Type A aircraft only
July 2025 293 a+b, 297: Type B aircraft only
jan 2026 a+b, 297, 299: Type A aircraft only
July 2026 293 a+b, 297: Type B aircraft only

Not sure about 135, and the Regis could have changed. But under 91 you need a check in each type every two years. Son one could be used one year, then the other the next. Still needed 3 takeoffs and landings every 90 days to carry other than required crew members. Under 135 it should be in your flight ops manual or training manual.

Sadly the GOM/Training manual doesn't get into this much.
part 135.293(a) No certificate holder may use a pilot, nor may any person serve as a pilot, unless, since the beginning of the 12th calendar month before that service, that pilot has passed a written or oral test, given by the Administrator or an authorized check pilot, on that pilot's knowledge in the following areas—

(1) The appropriate provisions of parts 61, 91, and 135 of this chapter and the operations specifications and the manual of the certificate holder;

(2) For each type of aircraft to be flown by the pilot, the aircraft powerplant, major components and systems, major appliances, performance and operating limitations, standard and emergency operating procedures, and the contents of the approved Aircraft Flight Manual or equivalent, as applicable;

(3) For each type of aircraft to be flown by the pilot, the method of determining compliance with weight and balance limitations for takeoff, landing and en route operations;

(4) Navigation and use of air navigation aids appropriate to the operation or pilot authorization, including, when applicable, instrument approach facilities and procedures;

(5) Air traffic control procedures, including IFR procedures when applicable;

(6) Meteorology in general, including the principles of frontal systems, icing, fog, thunderstorms, and windshear, and, if appropriate for the operation of the certificate holder, high altitude weather;

(7) Procedures for—

(i) Recognizing and avoiding severe weather situations;
(ii) Escaping from severe weather situations, in case of inadvertent encounters, including low-altitude windshear (except that rotorcraft pilots are not required to be tested on escaping from low-altitude windshear);
(iii) Operating in or near thunderstorms (including best penetrating altitudes), turbulent air (including clear air turbulence), icing, hail, and other potentially hazardous meteorological conditions; and

(8) New equipment, procedures, or techniques, as appropriate; and
part 135.293(b) No certificate holder may use a pilot, nor may any person serve as a pilot, in any aircraft unless, since the beginning of the 12th calendar month before that service, that pilot has passed a competency check given by the Administrator or an authorized check pilot in that class of aircraft, if single-engine airplane other than turbojet, or that type of aircraft
I know that this is my responsibility to maintain currency at the end of the day shared equally with the operator. I don't want to run into an issue and do it the right way.

The talk to the director of operations. The controlling and ultimately responsible person should be listed somewhere in the company literature.

I would love to lol, but all management is new to this situation and to be honest I don't trust them with this issue in particular because they asked me o_O. other then that they are great. I can't be the only one that has 2 type ratings for a 135 operator.

Time to find a new job I guess, another wonderful 135. /s
