Dear fellow pilots

Saw an article in AOPA saying that FAA is relaxing some restriction on Type 2 diabetes, which means no more A1C report required annually to FAA.
Anybody else has seen this or heard about it.

Vaporware until we have it.
And there will be HbA1c.... the AME will be responsible for meeting stds and will be audited. So very little changes except the wait for approval will soon be dealt with in the field.
