Two Texas bands coming to Kansas City

[timwinters]

Been wanting to see both Uncle Lucius and Cody Canada and The Departed but haven't worked up the motivation to make it down to Texas to do so.

Well, they're playing together at Knucklehead's in KC on the 28th. Tickets in hand!

It should be good.

I've heard good things about Knucklehead's, but I've never been.

I haven't heard of the bands or the venue?

Don't know much about Uncle Lucious, but I've heard this:

Sarurday and Sunday afternoons = dollar tacos.

Uncle Luciius was great. Cody Canada and The Departed not so much...which was disappointing...Cody was formerly the lead singer for Cross Canadian Ragweed, a group I enjoy. But The Departed, not so much.

Oh well, this old fart didn't need to stay up that late anyway! I was in bed by midnight and avoided the pumpkin syndrome.
