I got to run up to the TASM today for their annual 'Stang Thang event which had a Mustang car show in conjunction with a send off for a temporary P-51D exhibit. Despite it being local, I just hadn't had the time to see the museum prior to today. It's not a huge museum, but has some neat displays and aircraft cutaways. It's worth a couple hours of time if you happen to be in the area. Notable full size displays are the Spartan Executive, an F-14 Tomcat, and a NP-1 Navy trainer. They have an MD-80 that was retrofitted into a small theater for hourly shows. The two rug rats were pretty entertained for the duration of the event.
