Well, that didn't take long. As a native, and son of two PR career civil servants, please tell me more about this Puerto Rican predisposition to corruption. What's next, quoting the Insular Cases for why us "coconut people" are predisposed to morally bankrupt behavior?

Come on now brother, spare me the "benevolence" of your visceral Midwestern ethnocentrism, especially when it involves stereotyping an entire slice of American society. America's citizens are a lot more more nuanced than your perception of OCONUS life. We all share this crazy passion for flying, which is why we're here, sharing our experiences. As a Deputy U.S. Marshal, I have worked cases in Puerto Rico, and been involved in multiple trials that involved corrupt government officials. I'm speaking form experience. If you don't like it, too bad. If it wasn't a U.S. territory, it wouldn't be much more than a poor, 3rd world country. Not to say I don't like, Puerto Rico. I do. It's got a lot of problems, and the government and corruption is probably the biggest.
 
I bet Rhode Island is worse :-o
