TSA blocker

Only in America could such a solution be fashioned so quickly, and all for less than $20!

I was buying some beef shanks for vegetable soup at Kroger a couple of days ago when I saw one of those really big sausages in a shrink-wrap package. Which made me wonder if there's a law against packing extra meet on a commercial flight. Even if it's just to keep the nudoscope operator awake?

Not sure about domestic travel, but international customs might have an issue. But should keep the operator amused. Might even make YouTube. Oh, wait a minute, they can't record images, right?

Sorry to hear you need augmentation - hey, I get these adverts in my emails, perhaps I could forward them to you?

He didn't say he needed the augmentation... the tell would be if he's in the market for a bigger airplane to compensate... :)

If it held a plastic cup it would be perfect.

Hmmmm.......

Better file for a patent on that idea. (Sarcasm tag here)

I had the same thought (that in itself is scary) when Mary brought home a summer sausage today, although a salami would be much more appropro.

I'd "opt out" just to see the reaction during the "reach around".

I was thinking about boxers with a special message for TSA embroidered across the backside with metallic thread, myself.

I'm sure someone will start making t-shirts with various messages. Or better yet, a kit to make your own iron-on message to TSA. If they can make a form of printer ink that will show up on the scanner, people could make their own designs at home. A great opportunity to show off your creative side.

Who needs creativity. I think a closed fist with a raised middle digit should suffice.

That technology has been available to the TSA since at least December, 2009. It's "under evaluation" by the TSA despite calls from Congress to speed up its deployment.

In any event, it's not much better than what is being used now.

And they don't work if you don't go through them.

The Dutch full body scanner is much less intrusive.

Best,
