Hi everyone, I have a problem that may interfere with my future as an airline pilot...

3 year ago I had a severe vertigo episode that lasted for 2 days, after that these attacks occurred with a consistency of 4 to 5 times a year.
the problem is that when I performed Dix-Hallpike 's test (in a normal day) the doctor said that I don't have BPPV, which is a strange thing, so I was wondering if this problem is going to cost me my class 1 medical ?
PS: the attacks ALWAYS happen when I wake up, not even once I had an attack mid-day or in the afternoon

I suggest that OP see a specialist, starting with an ENT, to try to narrow down the cause before investing too much coin in flying. Some of the causes of vertigo are treatable or curable, others not so much.

"the doctor" sounds like a family doc. No workup was described! RJM 62 is dead on- you need to be seen by an ENT.
I mean....where's the audiogram, the VNG....."where's the beef?"
